Sorry I have not updated our blog for so long! Here is some pictures of a 10k we ran on the King's Birthday, the 5th of December. Kanaan and me, along with Kacie Chase, one of the 2 year interns, ran it, along one of our church member's husband, Pi Sukit. His wife just did the 1 mile walk, as did Grandmother, Granddad, Aunt Laura and Dad. Dad didn't do the 10k run because earlier he had fallen off of the skateboard ramp and hurt his ribs. There was a lot of people there, and lots of them were wearing yellow shirts to honor the king. I ran the whole thing in 1 hour, 1 minute and 25 seconds. There was this other English kid right in front of me and when he saw me trying to pass him as we got towards the finish line he started running faster and it sort of became a race just between the two of us. His foot crossed the finish line a millisecond before mine did. There was also this guy that was dressed up as Super Man that would blow a really loud horn every once in a while and even ran while holding a kite for a little bit. It was pretty funny.
